  • Excellence Award — Qualifies for the 2016 World Championships
  • Teamwork Champion (x2) — Qualifies for the 2016 World Championships

  • Design Award
  • STEM Research Project Award
Excellence Award Requirements

To be considered for the Excellence Award, teams MUST have entered for one or both of the Design Award and the STEM Award.

The Excellence Award will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Teamwork Challenge Qualification Ranking
  • Robot Skills Challenge Ranking
  • Programming Skills Challenge Ranking
  • Design Award Ranking
  • STEM Rearch Project Award Ranking
  • Quality of Team's Robotics Programme
Design Award Requirements

To be considered for the Design Award, teams MUST notify us at least one (1) week prior to the event of their intention to be considered.

Teams will need to be prepared to present their Engineering Notebook to judges, and to explain their design process. Teams will also need to demonstrate (through their notebook) effective management of skills, time and resources.

STEM Research Project Award Requirements

To be considered for the STEM Award, teams MUST notify us at least one (1) week prior to the event of their intention to be considered. Teams will be allocated presentation times that do not conflict with their match times. These will be allocated on the day.

Teams will need to be prepared to give a four (4) minute presentation to a judging panel. Teams will also need to be prepared to answer questions from the judges about their project.
